We're Committed to Sustainable Growth and Ethical Economic Development

Maui Skydiving acknowledges the environmental impacts associated with skydiving and aviation in general, and recognizes that it is challenging to adopt completely green practices due to limited technological advancements. However, we are committed to taking responsible steps to mitigate our carbon footprint. As part of our efforts, we share a portion of our revenue with organizations at the forefront of climate change combat.

How do we do this? 
Each month, we employ a Carbon Offset Calculator to determine the amount of carbon emissions we have released into the local environment. Based on this calculation, a corresponding dollar value is generated and donated to the Maui Nui Marine Resource Council. This organization is dedicated to preserving healthy coral reefs, ensuring clean Maui ocean water, and promoting abundant native fish populations.
Our donation amount is directly proportional to our flight activity. Therefore, the more we fly, the greater the contribution we make towards supporting these vital environmental initiatives. While we strive to adopt greener practices in the future, our current efforts reflect our commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and supporting crucial causes. We aim to be PONO (to do what is right!).
